Adobe Illustrator CS4

Last semester I learned a bit about illustrator, but it was focused on typography, this time I'm learning a new method. Using illustrator to draw is something I want to master, at least to create symbols and if i want to add fancy letter to it. So far its been really simple; a pen tool here, a square tool there, the mesh tool and the basics in coloring. I like it, but I don't know how beneficial it will be with my dear tablet to which I rely on to draw my detailed artwork. I will give it a chance, like many other programs and who know, maybe I'll prefer it over photoshop.
